Fred Bumann started Bumann Construction Company with just two helpers and a hard work ethic. What started as a small operation has grown into a vibrant business with eighteen full-time employees, a fleet of fully equipped trucks, and a long list of satisfied clients. He is now working with some of the top construction companies in Virginia, but one thing hasn’t changed over the years – his dedication to hard work and good service, based on the knowledge that building customer relationships is as important as building skyscrapers.

A former native of Norfolk, Virginia, Fred now resides in Chesapeake with his wife and BCC administrator, Susie. They recently welcomed their new son to the family and have assigned their two labrador retrievers, JR and JJ, as the office mascots.
